Pre-OT III AND ABOVE

When flying rudiments on Pre-OT III and above it is important to find out exactly whose charge an out rudiment is. It is not a given thing anymore that the charge is the Pre-OTs.

The charge can belong to the Pre-OT, a BT or a Cluster and the right ownership is one of the first things to sort out. Without sorting out the correct ownership charge won't As-is.

Axiom 29 is the key here. It states: "In order to cause an As-is-ness to persist, one must assign other authorship to the creation than his own. Otherwise his view of it would cause it's vanishment" (see also footnote)

In reverse, assigning right ownership is the first step in getting something As-is-ed. Just assigning the right ownership, with no further action, will cause the Pre-OT to feel better right then and there.

Flying the Ruds
Since we don't automatically assume that charge on a rudiment question belongs to the Pre-OT we have to formulate the rudiment questions slightly differently.

Instead of asking, "Do YOU have an ARC Break?" we have to ask, "Is there an ARC Break?"
In other words we do not include the word 'YOU' as that assigns ownership to the Pre-OT.

The correct wording of rudiment questions for Pre-OT III or above is therefore:

" Is there an ARC Break?"
" Is there a present time problem?"
" Is there a withhold?"
" Is there an overt?"

When six ruds are being called for we have in addition:

" Is there an invalidation?"
" Is there an evaluation?"

After finding a rudiment out by Meter read we first make sure the rudiment is out. That the Meter reads doesn't necessarily mean the rud it out. It just means the Meter read. IF the Pre-OT confirms when asked directly by answering that there is an out rudiment with a 'yes' and a brief statement then there is an out rudiment (ARC Break or whatever). Now one checks by Meter read for the ownership. The Solo-auditor asks:

"Is (charge found) mine? A BTs? A Clusters?" to determine which one reads and by that establish the right ownership.

Again ASK or look expectantly on PC to get the read confirmed. In Solo-auditing just be quiet and attentive for a moment to get the direct answer from your case. Should more than one of these read the Solo-auditor assumes that there are more than one out rud and each read has to be handled individually to F/N. If both 'mine' and 'BTs' read you would handle both reads, beginning with the largest read and do the standard rudiment handling for each per this chapter and per the basic data on handling rudiments.

When taking up a second read the Solo-auditor would repeat the question this way: let's say the largest read was on "Is there an ARC Break?" Ownership: mine. A smaller read was found on ownership: BTs.

The Solo-auditor would ask (silently) "On the rudiment, "Is there an ARC Break, is this charge also a BTs?" The Solo-auditor finds exactly what BT has this ARC Break. It is important to pin down the location when running any BT or Cluster on anything. The Solo-auditor has to narrowly focus his attention on just that BT in order not to stir up new charge, BTs or Clusters and simply run the normal ARC Break procedure on that particular BT until an F/N VGI is gotten.
When on Level III the Solo-auditor would then, knowing he is dealing with a single BT, handle the BT with standard Pre-OT III procedure to handle it to a blow.

As defined in 'Auditor's Rights' (C/S Series One) the EP of running the rudiments is F/N VGI on the Preclear and Preclear now ready for the major action. This hasn't changed. In other words, don't make running rudiments on this level more complicated than it is. If asking the Pre-OT (yourself) "Is there an ARC Break?" (or one of the other ruds) you get some quick itsa and F/N VGIs there is no reason to take it any further than that. Finding the ownership and the full procedure is only an issue if the charge has to be taken apart - not when it falls apart on first inspection.

This is actually also covered in Axiom 29. The latter part states: "Any space, energy, form, object, individual or physical universe condition can exist only when an alteration has occurred of the original AS-IS-NESS so as to prevent a casual view from vanishing it". If a 'causal view' does cause an As-is-ness that's it.

Also, you would of course cease auditing an out rudiment on a BT or Cluster if the BT or Cluster blows with F/N. If a Cluster breaks up and not all BTs are blown, the Solo-auditor would pick up each of the remaining BTs from that Cluster and run them on routine OT III procedure. This is just a way of taking care of all the by-passed charge of the out rudiment and a step in the right direction of the overall level of handling all available BTs and Clusters.

The rule is: Unless you get a discharge and blow of the rudiment as described above, it is essential to find out if any charge found belongs really to the Pre-OT himself or to a BT or a Cluster. You find ownership for each rudiment question as you go along. You may find - if you 'fly all ruds' - that some questions will cause F/N VGI on first inspection and some may need full handling of finding ownership and blow individual BTs as well. In each case you simply take the question to its rudiment EP and that's it.

This procedure is also used when the Solo-auditor assesses Repair Lists, such as the Green Green Form, the Solo-repair lists designed for the Level. Review Auditors use it when auditing Pre-OT IIIs and above on any prepared list, including LDN.

Before you begin Solo-auditing on Pre-OT III get this procedure drilled until you can do it smoothly and precisely. With the principle of misownership and As-is-ness understood and the procedure well drilled, flying ruds on Pre-OT III and above is a piece of cake.
